What did you do the day before, to set up for your shoot day?

The day before my media shoot, myself and my group headed over to B-WEBB to set up for our shoot. There were various things that we wanted to sort out before we film so that we can go straight into rehearsing on the day. We set up the following things:

-          Candles

-     Room for orchestra

-          Table where food will be placed

-          Bar

-          Lighting

We didn’t blow up the balloons or lay the fruit out because there would be students going back to their boarding house that night and we didn’t want anything that could be played with broken. After we set out all of these aspects we hid them away so that the next day we knew exactly what we were going to do. But we did keep the lighting and the bar up because that would take too long to set up the next day.

This was an efficient way of dealing with the set up of our shoot because once we had everything we needed and knew where we wanted it all, the next day we went in and set up as soon as possible and then rehearsals started.

  1. Sadie this is good in part - I feel that you could post a few more explanatory points. You should of also blogged wht you completed on the Sunday - in terms of getting the shoot ready. Can you blog reasons why the video was shot as a single shot using steadicam? You may need to look up what steadicam technology I and how central this is to your shoot. You still need to post the presenattion on the research and planning of your shoot.
