Johnson manages to attract millions of people, this is because his music isn't just for people of younger ages, which is what most artists nowadays try to attract. He writes his music so that people of all ages and of both genders can connect with it. Girls are more drawn into his music because he is a young
good looking man who has an impeccable voice. You would never see people who are interested in music genres like grunge or rock at Jack Johnson's concerts or at Higgins. Below are images of people at his concert and you can clearly see how the majority of his audience is female, and the ages range from as young as around 5 to any age. His music is clearly targeted at people of a carefree and music loving spirit and he is able to easily relate to people with these characteristics. People feel like they can relate to him as a person because in his lyrics they feel like he is exactly like them, girls, especially, enjoy his music because of his funny, caring and endearing songs. The reason why we have related him to Luke is because they give off the same spirit in their songs as each other and you can easily tell that they care more about their music then the image they give off.

Your research and planning is beginning to take shape. You have identified your target audience through the use of an audience profile of Jack Johnson and have posted Luke's Twiitter feed. This needs to be developed further. You need to identify the target audience for Luke Higgins, to profile this and apply the Vals as a part of the psychographic profiling. Another area for development s to compete the tasks set in relation to the research an planning - I think you have succeeded with the costumes, this is is clear and proficient work. It would help to post the animatic that is on Molly's blog, because it visualises the location and set design very well, along with the look of the video. There is missing the research and planning into the album covers and artists websites - can you please complete as soon as possible.
